It's a good point he makes. No England fan could be delusional enough to think they don't have issues with choking when it comes down to the wire. Great team, crap luck.

practically every english pundit (who also make a good living in England) has come out with worse on a regular basis.

He is a german and a member of the german national team, he's not exactly going to say that England are superior and Germany are running scared of them.

That was the best and most diplomatic answer he could have given.

Sorry, but what did Jens say that everyone who follows soccer didn't know? When you are one of the greatest football nations in the world with the greatest league in the world with the greatest club team in the world and you go 40 years without making a final...

I am not knocking England with that and if Jens had said, "America just isn't a football nation yet and their players lack the experience against big clubs to be favorites," I'd say, "Ass. He's right."
