wow. 3rd choice but still hurts.

I can't believe that dude's only 24, it seems (and he looks) like he's already been around forever.

That stinks.

Of course, my second thought is "Thank God it wasn't someone else on that squad"

Looks like they'll have to call up Anelka.

Does Cisse play up front or on the wing for France? I thought up front, which has theoretically been more of a battle between Trezeguet and Saha, rather than Cisse.

*shrug* Too bad anyway. Cisse is a legend. Here's to a quick recovery.

2 broken legs in what, 3 years? That really sucks for him.

Sucks for liverpool too now, as they can't sell him yet and will need to sign a replacement.

That bites! I'm not a huge France fan, but I do love Zidane and Henry. I feel bad for Cisse. It sounds like he has "Kevin Johnson" syndrome.

Sorry for the NBA reference.

I've always though Cisse seemed like a prick but you can't help but feel sorry for him. 2 days before the competition begins and this happens to him. You hate to see that and no one deserves that. Best of luck in his recovery.

Isn't this the same leg that he broke against Blackburn(?) a couple of years ago? If so, that's horrible luck.

This one just as gross as that one too. Actually maybe more. Ugh it was horrible.

Yeah and ironicly, it looked like it broke in exactly the same way. Nasty nasty...I really feel for the guy. :(

I thought I read that this was the right leg and that previously he had broken his left one.

Yea thats right. I thought it was his left leg from watching it but just noticed it is his right leg.

Yeah, on the Manc forum, they've posted a picture of it from the match. It's not for the squeamish.

Looks like they'll have to call up Anelka.

So not only is it a shame for Cisse, but it's a shame for anyone who is forced to be in contact with Anelka.

This guy seems to be impossibly unlucky. Two broken legs in what, two years? I've never really been a fan of the guy, but hopefully he has another quick recovery.
