ok guys, the local trade I had going for my friend/his girlfriend's tickets fell through in a big way.
So I've now got extras to all the US games. As I mentioned it's just 2 tickets because they can't go. I'm going to keep the later rounds for now since they had Fifa tickets and we have USSF conditionals and just hope they let us pick them up with a copy of his info.
Here's the catch...we leave Thursday morning.
So.....if you're going to Germany, are a USA fan and do not have tickets post a msg in this thread saying you're interested. Do NOT PM me as the buffer will fill up. Once we arrive and get situated on the 9th I'll either call home to have someone check the board or post my cell info to the people randomly chosen.
I am not bringing a laptop to Germany but will be buying a SIM card for my cell phone as long as I can figure out where to get one. :D
Take care and look forward to seeing you all in Germany this week!
Remember, these must go to US fans. If I call you and you have a british accent or something you're boned :p

I figure I might as well post this here as well since it applies to our fans w/o tickets, however, this'll only help out those of you who have a German bank acct:
I got two tickets today from the Schalker Fan-Club-Verband for our game against the Czechs on Jun 12th. The tickets they have are hospitality tickets that went back from ISL, so you sit in the business seats (I - VII on the stadium plan, mine are in I) at a cost of 141 Euros a pop. However, they reserve a separate entrance for you at the stadium so that you don't get into the La Ola business club with the important people who paid a couple hundred $$$ more for the same ticket with a warm meal :p
What you will need is a German bank account, and I am almost 100% sure it has to be in your name too (I didn't try what would happen if I ordered in someone else's name, but they did check my dad's ID when we picked the tix up, and it was his bank account). Send a fax to the Schalker Fan-Club-Verband at +49-209-9588625 with the following information:
Name, date of birth, Passport Number, citizenship, your address, and your German bank account, and an email address where they can reach you (and of course the amt. of tickets you'd like to order).
I'm guessing if you have a friend who has a German bank account, as long as he can pick up the tickets, he can order for you and you can then try to just have the name changed at the Ticket Center, or just try your luck at the stadium. The tickets do not have names printed on them, they read "Hospitality Ticket" and "Kommission FC Schalke 04". However, since they do want your personal info, I assume that the SFCV at least do keep track of the names. Whether they're in the ticket chip or not I don't know.
If you're successful, you should receive an email from "Arndt", that's Frank Arndt, the guy who does the ticketing at the SFCV. You then have to pick up your tickets at the SFCV's office at Ebertstraße 20 in 45891 Gelsenkirchen, and, as mentioned before, show ID. The bank account is then billed by TS Ticket and Secure, that's the company that does ticketing for Schalke 04, and with the tickets you'll also receive a bill from TS.
I don't know whether they still have tickets, the lady at the office today said they only got back around 300 or so (btw, there were also tix for Poland-Ecuador and Argentina-Serbia there). The message informing of the available tickets went out May 30th, but it wasn't publicized on their website or anything, I'm guessing the news went directly to SFCV members - I only heard about the opportunity through the grapevine. However, if, like me, you're an American living in Germany (or with relatives or friends in the region) and you're desperate for a ticket to this game, well, it's worth a shot :) You might also want to stop by Ebertstraße 20 if you're in Germany in the next couple of days. I wouldn't recommend it on the 12th because they will definitely sell out by then, but if you're there a little earlier, you might just have a chance walking in and asking whether you can't order right there on the spot.
Hope I can help someone out!

I am in Germany right now, over here in Berlin with a friend. We're taking the next two weeks to follow the USA team around Germany, and the only game we have tickets to is the Ghana game. We're heading to the Check and Italy games to try to wait outside the stadium for tickets. I'd LOVE to be able to get 2 tickets to the games.
Thanks,

I also have 2 US/Ghana tix I'm trying to get rid of. Bought from Euroteam (and in hand) but don't need them now. I realize I probably won't get what I paid for them ($500/ticket) but willing to accept interesting offers (i.e. tix to another cool game, preferably in the southern part of Germany). Of course cash is always acceptable too and will only go as high as "my cost". I leave on Saturday so I imagine we'd have to meet up somewhere in Germany. I will be at Czech game and Italy so we could make swap then. And I know everyone here knows this, but just as a disclaimer, my name and my friend's name and passport are on the tix so obviously you run the risk of being denied entrance due to the names not matching (of course the printed ticket actually says Ghana Soccer Federation). PM me if interested.

Well, I might as well take a shot- I'm going with three friends who have tickets to the Italy game and hoping to get lucky at game time from a scalper, so I would love the opportunity to buy 1 Italy ticket.
