Nice look guys. very sleek and pro.
Combine the old backdrop with 2 new flat panels and a section of the P-Funk mothership and "voila!" .
The desk looks alot more comfy than the old one, don't put on any weight, but the cool blue and chrome really pops on air.

Now all we need to do is get everyone to pronounce "Nakata" correctly and you'll be ready for the WC!
:D

Congrats on the upgrade, you earned it.

So far, I don't like it. The desk looks cheesy--like it's trying to be slick and futuristic, but failing at both--and it just seems awkward to have the two anchors sitting so close to each other when Bobby's on the set.

I know they'll be sitting on opposite sides the rest of the time, but when Bobby's there (the times that I always watch), it just seems strange. If my local news anchors sat less than a foot apart, I'd still think it seemed strange.

I agree, the 2 ancors on one side made it seem like the desk was way too small. Maybe they should have made the desk longer so when there were 3 people they would have one person in the middle, and 2 on each side.

I think it is a nice upgrade. While perhaps on the shows Bobby is on the anchors are quite close, it is still not that bad.

For those who remember ESPN in its infant days, they had some studios that were very similar. With time AND MONEY, the studio will continue to get better. On a shoestring budget they did a nice job. Any improvement is good improvement! Well done FSWR!
