Since the other thread deteriorated into god knows what, the thread is resurrected here.

Here's the info again:

Members of the Empire Supporters Club are starting a banner project that can only be described as massive. Your financial support is needed. No donations are too small (or, too big... ). Please consider kicking in as early as this Saturday to ensure that this project is a success as soon as possible.

We still are WAY short(not even 1/3 of the way) of our goal. Can't beleive not too many people contributed, but I'm assuming it was because not to many of you showed up last game and not too many of you know who Nelmar is. This week Ron AND Nelmar will be collecting the dough so make sure you contribute anything. Even if its the change from your beer run.

C'MON BHOYZ!!

Didn't someone ask that this thread not get hijacked?

There is no ban on banners at Metro matches.

Sweet Bejeezus. How thick is this guy? If I have to pay $30 to get an ignore list for posters like this, the least I can do is pony up the same for the banner.

Ron, see you tomorrow.

How long will it take for this thing to be ready? I'm away this week but I'll be happy to give some money when I get back.

We're hoping to debut the banner on derby day and since there is only one more game before then (August 17th v Dallas) it's important that people step up in a big way tomorrow night in Lot 16A.

Up your arse... it's only a question.... since I haven't been in GS this year and considering the previous post from GS officials ... I was just curious. Sorry I twisted your panties Alice.

Those "GS Officials" were no more than a poor attempt at a wind up which got no one except you. Secondly this thread was started so it would filter out all the ************************ that came in the first thread, yet you found it necessary to post some nonsense in here Alice.

Up my arse indeed.

Thanks for the info. How many crayons and bed sheets did it take to make the 100% tough banner?

hey, cool.

Just admit you'd rather pay someone else to do what a little paint and sweat could accomplish.

But we are making it ourselves. Its a MASSIVE flag. Not 10 ft long. If you read the page it says we need over 80 yrds of cloth. Most cloth goes for $2.00-$3.00 per yard. You do the math Einstein.

I question because I care.

What sort of cloth you buying? I just got off the phone with two Crew fans who were told by security no banners were allowed...and nor many banners were seen there tonight.

Why waste the money?
