I'm not sure if this is the right forum, or if it's been posted, but here's the article:

Interesting, to say the least.

forgive my ignorance, but who are the center backs borough has?

ideally id like gooch playing at the highest possible level- and have a veteran cb by his side to learn from. physically i can see him succeeding almost in spite of any skill or acumen he has (not saying hes lacking, at all), but having an experienced guy next to him can only help him translate that amazing phycial potential he has into becoming a truly world class player as he learns those little things that set players apart.

Boro has two former England internationals (Southgate and Ehiogu) as well as some younger guys like Wheater and Riggott. Southgate was class in his day, and there's some talk he may take over as the manager. Ehiogu played for England 4 times, and he's 30+ as well, so Gooch will have two very experienced CB's to learn from. The goalie, Schwarzer, is also a seasoned veteran, which will help him as well.
