I thought I'd post this thread just to get all the injury notes together. Please fill in.

I am in particular wondering about JOB since I hadn't heard anything ...and then thought - might as well post injury status for everyone in the group.

All I know is:

USA
Gibbs is out
JOB?
Reyna?

Czech
Simcer is out
Koller - groin strain low grade

Italy
?

Ghana
?

i believe all of the key ghana players are healthy

the czechs are also worried big time over galasek (knee IIRC) and rosicky (thigh IIRC), while koller and grygera are just now returning to game action from long layoffs

for italy, zambrotta may be in trouble - he says he'll be fine for the opener, but the doctors weren't sure he'd even make the US game - totti finally returned for italy last night and was laregely invisible in about 30 minutes - perotta had been nursing a knock, but he looked fine last night

Czech:

Add Rosicky - Thigh Strain....thinks he'll be ready to go by June 12?

Italy:

Add Totti - Ankle, Claims made he's at 60%

Notes on Czechs 6/3/06 Soccernet Report
The Czechs have been hit by injuries in recent weeks, with Vladimir Smicer ruled out of the World Cup finals due to a nagging leg injury, while Koller, striker Vratislav Lokvenc, defender Zdenek Grygera are all coming off lengthy layoffs.

fixed your post. technically speaking you could probably put Ralston, Dunivant, Spector, and Noonan all on that list too. might want to list who had an outside shot but missed their chance due to injury: Armas, Clark, Mapp, Marshall, Jaqua, Quaranta, and Casey. anyone else? i can't remember. Plus, two of USA most "talented" players won't be there either: Friedel(retired) and Mathis(drunken madness).

Lippi was given another scare on Friday when Alessandro Nesta injured his right leg in a 0-0 warm-up draw against Ukraine, but the imperious AC Milan defender is expected to recover in good time.

"Alessandro felt a twinge in the same muscle he strained last week, but he should be okay," the Italy coach concluded.
Probably nothing big, but worth noting.

Wow. BigCzechSoccer must be melting down right about now. It's 1 AM on the East Coast ... hardly a peak hour.

PS. What's a "prickling sensation"?

PPS. I posted the info on some other thread.

Prickling sensation is more than likely nerves (if it is like small needles). Could be a pinched nerve.
