I wanted to let everyone know about the World Cup Kickoff Party at the Brewhouse next Thursday evening. It starts at 6 and will feature live music and plenty of soccer on all the TV's. The Galaxy/Chivas game kicks off at 10 that night and I'm sure some people will stick around for it.
The event is hosted by the organization I work for, Soccer In The Streets, and will also feature a raffle/auction to benefit Soccer In The Streets programs. DC United, Real Salt Lake, Kansas City Wizards, Chicago Fire, and the Atlanta Falcons are some of the organizations that have been nice enough to donate some items for the event.
Hope to see some of Atlanta's soccer fans out that night, it should be a fun way to get the World Cup started a day early!

Wow, a soccer fan in Atlanta who hasn't been to the Brewhouse? You have to come out then. Tons of TV's, they show all the PPV/closed circuit Euro matches, they have MLS Direct Kick, good crowds, it'll definitely be the spot for the World Cup this summer.
There's a bunch of us there for DCU games too. Tomorrow night we'll be at the Silverbacks' home opener though, but we'll be back on the 11th.

I just wanted to remind everybody that this is tonight. Hope to see of you out at the Brewhouse.
There's some folks coming out a little later in the evening for the Chivas/Galaxy match at 10 if anybody's interested.

I'm not sure. I know the Brewhouse doesn't have that on all the TV's, but they've just upgraded some in the interior.
As for the other bars, I'm not sure. ESPNZone might be a possibility.

I don't think the brewhouse have any HD TV's. They have high quality digital TV's, but not actual HD reception.
ESPNZone could be an option.
