FIFA neemt in 2010 kaartverdeling weer in handen

Ok, its in dutch but i'll give a short translation.

Article basically says that the fifa will sell tix for 2010 themselves again and that the German OC was heavily critisized. The current ticketsystem is to complicated and to many tix were given to sponsors.

But now the remarkable part, 1000's of VIP tickets are still unsold and the OC is considering to let soldiers in to the stadion to occupy the empty seats

i don't know why i'm still suprised at this stuff, but i am. in korea, they filled the stands with school children, and even then there were empty seats.

at spain v paraguay, there was an entire section dedicated to each country. each packed to the gills (even though there were empty seats all around). everyone had banners, flags, scarves and noisemakers. they were all korean, and while they could have been real fans, they didn't seem to know the spanish or paraguayan cheers going around, prefering to stick to their own cheers. which sounded a lot like the cheers for the korean team! at least they were interested.

hope these stadiums are filled.
