Check the MISL website...I wonder if it has anything to do with them.

Hey guys,
I've actually been involved with this. Graham Tutt (played with the Chiefs back in the day) has put together an event. He and his assistants held tryouts throughout metro Atlanta to put together a US squad and an Intl. squad. Essentially the guys that showed up that were born in the states were trying out for the US team and players that were born internationally were trying out for the Intl. team.
Tryouts were open, but $50 a person. If you made the cut you were asked to return, and there have been many subsequent tryouts/practices since then. The field has narrowed, but they recently told us that they still have about 40 guys they're considering for the 18 spots on the US team. Presumably the competition is just as tight for the Intl. group.
This same process is apparenty going on in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and a few other southeastern states. If there is enough support generated following the 27th game they plan to have a southeastern pro division. I'm not sure if it will be linked directly to the MISL or if it will be a farm league of sorts.
Anyway, the process is still ongoing and I'm just gonna keep trying to put my best foot forward to try and make the squad.
Here's the website: http://www.internationalindoorsoccer.net/
Hope this helps...

Hey guys,
Just a quick update on the USA vs. Intl All-Stars event.
I've had the luck to make the final cut, at least for the game on 27th of this month.
There have been around 2000 tickets sold thus far, but those who are promoting the event are just now about to kick into full swing. In addition to a ton of posters and postcard-style flyers being posted at soccer spots around metro-Atlanta, they are also running a commercial (which you can view on the website) some 500+ times on both cable and network channels within the next couple weeks leading up to the game.
If the promotions are able to bring a few more thousand ticket-holders to the game, then plans should move forward for an Atlanta pro team, the Atlanta Action. If the numbers remain relatively low, then likely it will be deemed that there isn't enough support for an Atlanta pro indoor team. As such, please feel free to forward the website and/or event information to any people or goups you feel might support the event and concept.
Take care...
