Who the hell is Gubernick? Did you get pulled for a series?
No, they took me and the rest of the starters out towards the end of the 3rd quarter and us down 35-7. They took us out to prevent injuries. Remember, I'm still rehabbing my knee and we have a long season. Not to mention a big road game Thursday. We were missing 3 defensive starters due to injuries and lost our starting Free Safety for the year with a blown ACL. The last thing our coach wanted was to lose some of the key offensive players in the tail end of a blowout. One of the few times I agree with him.

We play Thursday night at Capistrano Valley who is a pretty good team. However, El Dorado is easily a County Top 10 team and if our offense has the same potency as far as yardage we should put some points on the cougars. I moved up in the county passing yardage to the # 5 slot. 12 yards behind USC commit Aaron Corp.

No, our schools have never met. Santa Margarita is in a division much higher than ours. They are a private Catholic school and therefore are in the Trinity league which is made up of all the other Catholic High Schools. Private schools are free to have players from any district or city play for their teams. Public schools must abide by strict zoning plans and deal with very harsh transfer penalties.

Funnily enough I almost went to Santa Margarita but I didn't want to just leave my friends for football.

Why do you ask?

O hell, blew the game. Playcalling was atrocious.

http://www.ocregister.com/ocvarsity/schools/northwood/article_1284161.php

The only upside is all 3 losses have been to county top 15 teams.

Now we get to play Irvine High School this week, which oddly enough we have never played. The coaches from Northwood used to coach at Irvine and when Northwood opened a lot of them jumped the sinking Irvine ship. The game is going to be televised all over the county on our local TV station.
