Nah, just phone calls from old friends. All of my friends here in Carlisle have either left the city for jobs or for school...so I'm all by myself. Reason #312 to leave this place.
However, my sister got me Arrested Development Season 3 on DVD...brilliant show.

Naw, go to the Man Utd board and read through the latest Glazer related thread to see where I got that from.

ToonUSA tell us how the game went.
It was a cluster ********. We got beat 21-7. Game started off well with us recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff but when the offense took the field i was hit while throwing and the ball was picked off. Alot of penalties and turnovers which is expected in a first game. We opened the scoring when I threw a TD pass and put us up 7-0. Our defense held strong against a team with a running back already committed to Oregon. They were much bigger than us and as the game went on that showed. I was sacked 6 times and rarely saw a throw from my feet. In the 2nd half our best starting position was from our own 28. Coaching and player mistakes led to us eventually losing 21-7. My final stats were 10-17 for 92 yards with 2 picks and a TD.
This is our first step to the bigger division. A little backround is that we had been in Division 9 since our school opened. Last year we went to the Finals of Division 9. This year we were moved up to Division 6 and so we schedule some traditionally strong D-6 teams to get us ready for our league. This got us ready alright. Kennedy was a D-6 semifinalist last year and now we know what we have to do to get better.

Tough break on the loss there. I didn't think Kennedy was any good.

Shit. Sorry about the loss. It's cool though that your last name is Toon and you play for Northwood. Keep us updated on your season.

It feels fine. My jaw on the other hand is a little out of place but nothing too serious. It was weird everytime I got hit, (which was pretty much every play) the crowd and the sideline would go dead silent until I got up.
As far as my last name goes, I feel I support the right team.
I'll keep you boys updated as it goes on, and if you don't see me around as much you can guess why.

Fall is when I miss SoCal, because God the football teams up here are bad. A combined 42 points from the 5 local teams this weekend, and 28 of those were from one team (except they gave up 50...damn Walla Walla's spread option).

Orange County is a hot bed. We drew 3,000 for the game and we don't even start school until Thursday. We should have at least 6,000 for our game against cross town rivals Irvine.

Yeah, I lived in LB, with Poly-De La Salle and whatnot. I know how it is, it just sucks that the teams here just aren't up to snuff. When you give up over 400 yards rushing on simple traps and counters, you suck.

Yea, that is pretty poor. Poly got beat on friday in what was a very uncharacteristic game by them. Only 7 points!
