Christ, people can't even take a good joke. Back in the day people could take a jab at the French and everyone would find it funny. Now all of a sudden it's impolite to poke fun at the Frogs.
The French are arrogent pricks which cannot be denied, however I do like a lot of things about French culture.

My Mom is from New Orleans and I have been raised with some of the finer points of French culture shoved up my behind. Food is the major one I would have to go with. French architecture is also very appealing to me.
What exactly do you like?

That's because
1) EVERYONE does it nowadays.
2) Because of the Iraq war, it's become political.

Well if you watched the Espys last night Lance's jab at the French soccer team was very very funny.

"Tested positive for being arseholes"? I actually didn't find that funny, mostly because it didn't make sense (after all, only one French player got red carded for a headbutt). Moreover, that "one" player is one of the greatest soccer players of our generation, and Armstrong (or rather, the ESPY writers) helped to guarantee that he'll be remembered in the US only as some "asshole" French footballer. Shame.

It's a real shame when people can no longer appreciate a good French joke.

The French gave us Louis Saha, and for that we can all be thankful.

Ha one of my friends was bragging about how when he goes to Oregon on Thursday the high will be like 69. I'm not telling him either. Let's see how he feels when he steps off the plane. :D

Depends on which part of Oregon he's going to. If he's going to Portland or the high country (Bend, etc.) it's possible, depending on if things cool off a bit or the rain comes in. If he's going to the south/west (Medford/Eugene) or the north/north east (Hermiston - where I live - Pendleton/La Grande/Ontario) then it's gonna be hot as blazes.
