WC Group stage betting

Hey, anyone want to give their 2 cents on group stage game betting?

Here's what i've been thinking of...

Picking on Angola. Portugal should win, and i think Mexico and Iran can too...

Picking on T&T. i'll be surprised if they steal points from Sweden. Could they hold England like N. Ireland did? If Paraguay needs a win to go through in the last game i can't see T&T stopping them...

Picking on the USA. I can only see them stealing a tie from Czech and Italy. That's why i'd go with the Asian line and decrease the odds while protecting against the Draw.

Picking on the Saudis and Tunisians..If Spain Ukraine ends in a draw then i think you'll see both of them win their next games.

Other than putting some stupid cash back before the December draw on the US winning it all (I was just having fun), I haven't given the group wagers much thought. I might pick a few before I leave for Germany. Here are my picks for advancement:

OK, I settled down tonight to get serious about my WC wagering. Here's what I've done.

USA to win it all
$37 wager
$2,437 payout
(I know it's a long shot, but what the heck. I placed this one before the groups were drawn in December. The payout would be about $2,997 if I placed it today.)

Germany and Spain to be in the final match
$25 wager
$1,000 payout
(Germany is the home team and Spain is a dark horse. A lot would have to happen, but it's possible.)

eight play parlay for Germany, England, Argentina, Portugal, USA, Brazil, France, and Spain to advance out of their groups
$60 wager
$314 payout
(Safe bet except for the US. I could have picked Italy instead of the US, but the payout wouldn't be all that great. I needed to make it interesting.)

eleven way parlay for winners of twelve of the first set of group matches: Germany, England, Sweden, Argentina, Holland, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, France, Brazil, Spain, and Tunisia
$84 wager
$9,764 payout if I hit all twelve ($667 to $997 payout if I miss one)
(I hedged my bet by going with the eleven play on twelve matches. I'm willing to take a hit if I nail all twelve. There's always a surprise.)
