OK, people. Let's win something. I need a good week before heading to Germany.
Wednesday, May 31
D.C. United vs Columbus Crew (7:30 pm ET)
Colorado Rapids vs Los Angeles Galaxy (9:30 pm ET)
Saturday, June 3
D.C. United vs New England Revolution (7:30 pm ET)
FC Dallas vs Columbus Crew (8:30 pm ET)
Houston Dynamo vs Los Angeles Galaxy (8:30 pm ET)
Kansas City Wizards vs New York Red Bulls (8:30 pm ET)
Real Salt Lake vs Chicago Fire (9:00 pm ET)
Chivas USA vs Colorado Rapids (10:00 pm ET)
Without seeing the odds, I like DC and Colorado on Wednesday. Dallas, Houston, and DC look good on Saturday. Post odds as soon as you seem them on the wagering sites.

Bet365 was down much of today to do a significant upgrade. It looks nice and functional. They've really improved their MLS stats pages, i.e. head-to-head history. I've heard that Bet365 has sold a lot of its bricks and mortar operation to focus on its online business. It appears to be paying off. Here are the odds are Wednesday's matches:
DC United v Columbus 1.72 3.40 4.00
Colorado v Los Angeles 1.72 3.40 4.00

My MLS wagering monologue continues... :D
Here are the odds for Saturday's matches:
Book Closes Fixture Home Draw Away
Jun 03-19:30 DC United v New England 1.80 3.25 4.00
Jun 03-20:30 Dallas v Columbus 1.61 3.40 5.00
Jun 03-20:30 Houston Dynamo v Los Angeles 1.61 3.40 5.00
Jun 03-20:30 Kansas City v NY Red Bulls 1.83 3.20 3.80
Jun 03-21:00 Real Salt Lake v Chicago 2.50 3.20 2.50
Jun 03-22:00 CD Chivas USA v Colorado 2.50 3.20 2.50
As the season progresses, I've noticed that the odds are falling as the favorites become more evident. On the flip side, you can do well on an underdog. I put down $40 on DC, Dallas, Houston, and KC for a $304.45 payoff.
P.S. Bet365 reverted back to their old design. Apparently, the new setup had some script bugs. I assume that they'll wait until after the WC before upgrading.

Dallas, Chicago.
I considered picking the RSL/Fire match, but RSL is on a little mini roll right now. Chicago is 2-0-0 lifetime against RSL, but I just thought it would too tough to call.

DCU is about the only damn club that I can count on to be fairly consistent week in and week out. KC is a shadow of itself since the WC call-ups. Dallas decided to take the night off for some reason.
No MLS wagering for me until around week #13. I'm flying to Germany and not bringing the laptop with me.
clapclap... clapclapclap... clapclapclapclap... U.S.!

Good for you. Have a good time. I'll be here rooting on my couch. Except for the Ghana game, where I'll be in KC, and probably won't get to celebrate our advancement to the 2nd round. ;)
