i think the Carlos Morales move has fallen apart, Mediotiepo says hes going to Toluca.

According to Tena, Salinas retunrs to AMERICA. I know most people do not care for him and think he sucks, BUT he was a starter for two championship teams, superlideres, etc ... The guy is effective, he knows how to win, and most importantly (for me) he bleeds the colors of AMERICA. I wouldn't even be against trying him out as a central defender in place of Davino. Rojas and Davino are not getting younger and we have to eventually find replacements for them. I also hope Cervantes steps up this season. This should be the season where he takes the starting postion away from Davino or Rojas (who I prefer over Davino ...)

thats a little disappointing, I was looking forward to having him on the team. He's shown some promise and could have been very useful to america on the left side of the midfield.
On another somewhat related note, I dont know how much to trust the mediotiempo site. They claim torres was sold to santos, but the official america site says that he is on loan. Im more inclined to believe what es mas says, but who knows

It was supposed to be part of the payment for Vuoso. But as you said, Who knows....
It would be great if Torres could develop his game on Santos and in a couple of years America could take him back.

How has Claudio Lopez performed for you guys? I heard he was the most expensive player ever to play in the mexican league, but that he was a dissapointment. Is this true? And did you buy him or is he still on loan from Lazio? I was quite sure that his loan contract was ended a couple of months ago. But he never came back.

no way has he been a dissapointment, he is an icon for America. He helped us tremendously on winning the league title a year ago.

Ok, and does he play for you? I guess you bought him then... Quite sad actually. I was looking forward to have him in Lazio again but i guess that won't happen.

Not quite sure, but I think he's on loan. He will remain in America for at least 6 more months, tho.
