Let's see, I'm not sure these three were "strikers" but simply forwards -- if you get my meaning.
Clean house a bit and bring in some new blood. And get on with it.

In the end I think that let the wrong striker go. Bartlett was hard working, Boothroyd certainly isn't. We don't need a guy who's only skill is taking blazing free kicks.

Bent knocked in 18 goals last year. How many goals do you think he'll have this year, especially with Hasslebank in the mix and Murphy moving on?

I don't know about the totals, but I don't expect a second season slump with JFH running along side him and taking a central defender away from marking Bent.. it could only be better overall for the addicks.
I think the question is a play making midfielder, they have the wing players (hopefully Thomas's injury isn't bad) with Ambrose and Rommedahl and defensive minded mids.. who is going to create the chances and provide depth in the tight stretches of the schedule?

Bolanos is on trial. No word on if he will be contracted. He played in the "game" against Wellington United and seemed to show well against that low competition.
