I decided to create a Celtic Idle chat. Apparently Nakamura would like to stay a bohy. Our midfeild could look like this come the next campaign.

GS to head to Germany to look at fellow Polish strike partner Miroslaw Szymkowiak. He would be a great back up for BBJ.

Hope GS is listening to people like McGarvey, Denilson has no place at Parkhead, not to mention I think Roy would kick his a$$.

A story that is being blown out of porpotins is the deifinivite No from the King. Leave it to the media to blow it up with titles such as Larsson snubs Celtic return, Larsson rejects Hoops. Whatever it takes to get hits.

I know this sounds like a stretch, but imagine Larsson in some coaching capacity at Celtic?

I bought Lord of The Wing, Jimmy Johnstone dvd and its great. Video is well done and Fergy, Cruyff, Bobby Charlton, Di Stefinao and many others talk about the Celtic Legend and there exeperiences.
I think McGeady vcould be the next Jimmy. The way he can take on three or four people and just make them look absoutly foolish. He can just work on the end product a bit he could be that good. He's only 19 so he has plenty of time to grow, hopefully he will understand that it hs taken players like Miller,Maloney, etc to the age of 23 to break through to the first team.

I'm assuming this fits in this thread ...

Celtic has announced its friendly schedule:

July 4 vs. Legia Warsaw
July 6 vs. Wisla Krakow

July 12 at D.C. United (7:30 p.m. ET)
July 16 vs. South American team - Philadelphia (4 p.m. ET)
July 19 at New England Revolution - listed as Boston, but is Foxborough (7:30 p.m. ET)

July 23 home vs. Everton (9 a.m. ET)
July 26 home vs. Manchester United (2:45 p.m. ET)
Aug. 9 at Chelsea (2:45 p.m. ET)

http://www.celticfc.net/newsroom/news.aspx?id='2006-06-02_1206pc'

Personally, I really like the schedule, especially the United States games and the contests against three Premier League teams (including the top two from 2005-06).

hope we'll meet in the CL and the score will be the same ;) but seriously - this was a friendly kick around, with a polish ref and an opening goal for Celtic being disallowed due to an offside which never occured. good occasion to see the Bhoys live for the first time in my life, give Boruc a warm welcoming at home and meet some Celtic fans :) did you see the Gers flag hanging upside down on our fence? :D

if someone is interested i can give links to some photos from the match
