In any case there are rumours that Bremen are about to sign Lazio's Pandev. He's a wonderful player.

Haha, 50% correct! Highlight to review please:

Berliner Olympiastadion
18. Hertha BSC Berlin---46992---76065--61.78%:p :D

I saw, I saw. But my point still stands. You never filled the Olympiastadion for most games, just like Hertha does in our Olympiastadion.

And @ Pandev. Wonder to watch. Best player from the Balkans IMO since Stankovic.

2nd time lucky for Spurs as they bid for Anderlecht winger
31st May 2006

By Staff Writer

Spurs have launched a £3 million bid (4,4 Mio€) for Swedish international winger Christian Wilhelmsson according to reports in Belgium.

Wilhelmsson has made it clear he intends to leave Anderlecht this summer and Spurs have made no secret of their interest in the player revealing that they ran out of time to do a deal during the January transfer window.

Other clubs have now joined the race for the left sided winger including Werder Bremen and Italian club Fiorentina.

Wilhelmsson could feature against England in this summer's World Cup as part of the Sweden squad where team mate Niclas Alexandersson has described him as “probably the fastest guy on the team,”.

With Lennon on the right and Wilhelmsson on the other wing, Spurs could give sides real problems next season with the potential to attack with pace from both flanks - a system that manager Martin Jol is known to favour.

Wilhelmsson is a great player but unfortunately he's not fitting well into our system.

Wilhelmsson is a great player but unfortunately he's not fitting well into our system.

From what I've seen, he's extremely versatile. He can play RB, CM, AM, Left and Right Wing and maybe even supporting striker. But he's too expensive to keep on the bench and be the "utility man" so to speak. But he's a quality player for sure.

Yes, some users already suggested that he'd be a replacement for Valdez. But he's far more dangerous as an offensive right winger. But that probably would be TOO offensive for Bremen. Actually Borowski on the left side is playing offensive and Frings on the right side in a more defensive role.

Paolo Guerrero

Definitely one of the most dislikable players in the Bundesliga - even most Bayern fans & the Trainer of Bayern II (Gerland) characterize him as an arrogant player. So, get the ******** outta here, Guerrero. :P

No, no, no Guerrero.

I don´t like the guy.
He reminds me of Kuranyi.

But there´s hope, he won´t come,
because the source isn´t very reliable.

This is bigger than losing Pizarro, Rost, Krstajic, Ismael, Ailton, Ernst and Valdez combined:

Johan "Le Chef" Micoud leaves Werder and returns to his homecountry France to play for Girondins Bordeaux.

Let's spend the 3 Mio € on alcohol to wash away the pain.

lol, thats a lot of focking booze!! I think you guys can find a replacement for him, not soon I hope. Man Frings had one hella good game playing defensive mid for the national team. He didn't shoot all match and then the one shot he took was amazing, especially with the crazy inside out curve.

That's a devastating loss for you guys. On his game, he was able to elevate Werder to a higher level, and I'm not sure anyone on your team right now can do the same. Why did he go? Something he wanted, and Werder, classy club that it is, obliged, or did Werder effectively cut him loose?

From what I heard/speculated, it seems like he was homesick more than anything. I could be wrong about this (and E. Eilts or another Werder poster could give a better reply), but that what it seems like to me. I'll miss Le Chef in the BuLi though. He really was the driving force behind Werder's brilliant attacking play. Too bad he isn't at the WC either.

I'm really curious to see how Diego pans out.

Yes, exactly, he wanted to end his career at Bordeaux,
the club, where he became famous.

Decision has to be accepted, yes, great loss,
but also a chance for others to show, what they can.
