It looks like a great night for the German football! ;)

C'mon Werder, 6 minutes to go!

Only 15 minutes left. If Bremen keep concentrated theyll win this, and German football will have had its most likely best result of the season.

unless you consider Inter 0 - 1 Bayern to be a better score...

please use result tags :) (from df)

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know many teams who could name Zambrotta as one of their bench warmers...

It looks like Lionel Messi made the difference this night...

1:1 in the last minute

Finito!

What a pity for Bremen, they were so close to a sensation! :(

Really too bad. But no shame for Bremen, they should still be pleased. They played well, and a point against Barca is a good result to have no matter what. Qualification can be little more than a dream for Bremen, but this was still a good performance.

Messi was excellent, he had two absolutely brilliant scenes in the game. I'm surprised he's still a sub at Barca.

Yea when you have Zambrotta, Messi, Gudjonsen as subs, WErder can count themselves proud, esp. with a not 100% Klose, Frings, Klasnic

But they have to work on late minute defending....

The team deserved a win today,
they were the better team for more than a hour
and outplayed Barca in the first minutes.

The 1-1 is a sh*t result, but the players can be proud.

That´s a sh*t result.
The team deserved more for the passion they showed.

I'll agree with that too...but like I said in the last minutes seemingly Werder cave in :(

I hope that Werder can't play on tonight's level next Saturday...

Kudos for this great performance!

At least the people, who like to speak about the crisis in German football,
shut up for a while after the performances of Bayern and us (so angry about the last minutes,
but the players ran very much in the match and had no more stamina) today.

What a tragic shame........just sucks ....Werder were so close.

Some aweful officiating but Werder was tired towards the end and Barca have a lot of depth.

Bremen should be proud though, they outplayed Barca through very lage portions of the game.

so close yet so far. HORRIBLE officiating. i knew that Werder was going to need that close miss by Borowski in the 75th minute or so. IT was SOOOOO CLOSE, and i knew they would need it!
