English FA approves them to have home base in London and play games in England.

Aww that's cool. I think it will be great for our famous soccer team to play in England. It's fantastic that they have a home base in london.

This is not only good news for Leeds players, but every single Australian that is based in Europe (which all of the starters for the Socceroos are)
The more games played in England, the better it is for our development as a team. No matter how talented a player is, travelling 24 hours to play one game has to be draining.
With moves like this, it is starting to look more certain that we will again top Oceania, and we may now be able to make a small impression at the world cup :)
I'm allowed to be optimistic :)

Congrats on this. That is one thing that is killing European-based American players. For west coast matches they have to fly at least 15 hours or so. This should help Australian soccer greatly.
