There is no need for him. He had some major goofs towards the end of the season. Navarette did well enough to earn himself a look at the starter spot. What about salcedo from dorados? Not that I like him any better than bernal, but wasnt he the initial target last season before navarette came in?

Would be a good call , but as the starter I think Navarrete can give him a shot at starting position .

I also read that If Ochoa leaves, America would be going after Chuy Corona. The thing is, why hiring another GK when you already have Navarrete, and has proven his qualities. If they need an extra GK for the bench then you have Christian Martinez, Ame´s property also.

MAybe you didnt watch enough veracruz games but Bernal was the best goalie of the tournament. Without him Veracruz would have gotten relagated. He was good troughout but he had like four or five spectacular games where he saved like 3 sure goals
