#1 soccer bar in Cleveland?
Well, there were exactly ZERO fans at The Old Angle for the US game tonight.
In fact, I begged to have the game put on in the corner and could only watch it when I agreed to put it on without volume (so as not to disturb everyone).
They didn't even know there was a US team, or a game or if they received ESPN2.
Take a lesson from me, and do your research on bars far ahead of these friendly and WC games.
If you think sitting next to the bathroom watching espn2 without volume and being glared at by others who hate sports and listening to some acoustic folk player - if you think that is a fun experience, be my guest and go to Old Angle.
But for me, Old Angle is truly heinous and I was happy to watch the second half by myself in the hotel.
What a joke Cleveland.

Perhaps you misheard. Old Angle is the #1 SUCKER Bar in Cleveland.

Please enjoy our city.

LMAO...

didn't know there was a US team?
but moreso....

DIDN'T know if they got ESPN2?!?

hahaha....
never been there....
who said they were the number 1 soccer bar?
did they have a soccer atmosphere (decor) outside of the live music, people?

Sorry for your experience, but "What a joke Cleveland" ??
What does that have to do with Cleveland? I can find the same thing down here in Dallas.
And yes, of course do you're research.
It's just not smart and too easy (phone call) not to do so.

Sorry, ARW,

I was up at Parnells. Very soccer friendly. The guys next to me wanted to give away a US v. Ghana ticket. All you had to do was get to the game. Every TV was on the game. Which explained why there was a loud "****" from the bar around 8:50 pm.
