On the 24th of May 1966, a king was born. The rest is history. Happy 40th birthday, Eric.

1966 was a great year because England won the World Cup

Cantonna wasn't a bad player, but he wasn't all that

Eric is one of the main reasons why I started following MU. The greatest player to wear a United jersey.

Eric's best moments for MU (36 mb) (http://www.russianreds.ru/manutd/video/bestgoals-cantona.WMV)

Winning the World Cup is more important to English football than what God achieved at the great Manchester United

Zola was better :D

Cantonna wasn't a bad player, but he wasn't all that

He was the king, and that's all you need to know.

"Eric Cantona, says ROBERT NEWMAN, has always taken on the system and won. Which is what makes him a great idol for our times.

Once in France me and some mates were failing to talk to some other working class french blokes in a bar (typical brits abroad). The only French thing that came to mind was King Eric, so we had an hour of drinking and toasting Cantona - the only thing Englishmen and Frenchmen could communicate and agree on ;)

Happy birthday Eric, you trancend borders and national prejudice ...

Yeah because Zola stepped up to the plate when the chips were down ????Zola really inspired chelsea to ********in greatness?? -one example -
In the league @ old trafford jan 2003 -CHELSKI 1 UNITED 1 Injury time (United needed to win to keep title hopes aive) Zola has the ball all he has to do is waste 20 seconds even just kick it the ******** away what does he do? Loses it to Roy which leads to Forlan scorin and ultimatly United winnin the league.

Zola was a ********in pansy who never went on to greatness cuz he didnt have the bottle to stand up and be counted -Good player and all the rest but will never -Ever be mentioned in the same class as cantona
