I like the line-up. BA said he would make 2 subs for sure:
My thoughts:
Mastro for JOB
EJ for Wolff
I bet we also see Convey for Beasley. (just a hunch)

who needs a right mid when you have those 3 in the midfield? I expect an explosion form USA with this side

I can't imagine Dempsey doesn't get in at some point.

It's the Autogolazo/Los Tecnicos line-up!!! Wolff is the question mark!!! Look away from the Grail if you are not Holy!!!

I expect a loss or a poorly played draw.
US all-time record with Reyna, O'Brien, or both as the d-mid: 2-5-4. This game could be enlightening for all the wrong reasons.

wow - 4-3-3 - very audacious, but shows that Arena is really putting a LOT of confidence in the three mids of Donovan, Reyna, and O'Brien. I likes!
Did Arena say ONLY 2 subs? That would surprise me - I could see Dempsey in for Reyna, Convey on for DMB, EJ on for either Wolff or BMB, Maestro on for O'Brien, and any number of defensive subs. It's kind of a catch-22, sub a bit more and test some different things, or give the starters a good run-out. Thoughts?

Two Words...BAD ASS!
I've waited SO long to see the midfield anchored by Reyna and JOB. This friendly is far from meaningless for me. It's been soo long since we've fielded our best 11 and this IS it.
30 mins and I'm excited...

We've got two threads going -- mods merge? Thanks...
Bruce can make up to 6 subs. I'd be surprised not to see at least 4.

Josh Wolff is in our best 11? I hope not.

with three games in six days, he'll probably sub more than two. that, and/or use a much different lineup in the other two games. i really don't want JOB to play more than 45 in any of these.

apparently bruce thinks he might be... we'll have to see how Wolff performs with the other 10 on the field. If Josh Wolff is the Steve Kerr, I'm fine with that, you need a role guy to help out. I'll put more faith in Bruce than anyone else's opinion at this point

If Bruce doesn't use all 6 subs I'd be extremely surprised.

i say give them a run out, especially if they still have a couple of games to play. two, maybe 3 subs max and see how this unit holds up for a good 60-75 minutes. after that maybe throw in a couple of subs to rest tired legs or change tactics if things aren't working out towards the end of the game. according to what i've heard about the camp, they should all be in pretty good shape at this point. fatigue from a tough camp might be a factor.
people have said that maybe this line up is really a 4-5-1 and that beasley and wolff are going to be more like midfielders. does anyone think there is a possibility that arena wants to bypass the midfield and play more direct kind of like 5-1-3. getting balls to mcbride to layoff to donovan who feeds dmb and wolff on the wings. not really traditional arena stuff, but just a thought. if he is gonna try anything might aswell do it in this game.

4-3-3...ROCK ON!
Let's see if Wolfie can be effective with the A team around him.

Are they limiting it to 6 subs for this game? I know sometimes that's in affect, and other times its open subs.
