"ESPN TO AIR U.S. MNT BEHIND-THE-SCENES FEATURES NIGHTLY FROM MAY 24-29 ON SPORTSCENTER: Sports fans will get another view inside the locker room of the U.S. Men’s National Team when ESPN’s SportsCenter kicks off a series of behind-the-scenes features that will air nightly from May 24-29. SportsCenter’s World Cup reporter Shelley Smith will deliver the 90-second segments that will be shot and aired the same day, showing scenes from training, team meetings, locker rooms and wherever else the cameras might make their way during the five-day window."

If they didn't hate soccer they would do this for more than a week.

Very cool.
I'll have to add a sports center season pass to my TIVO for the first time... ever.

Its ok, it is a Pavlovian response when hearing ESPN and soccer in the same sentance.

maybe the team is just restricting behind the scenes access after the send off series, when they are in germany. They call it a five day window, maybe that was the only window they got.

Dont get sucked in!!! It's all part of a plot to bring about the downfall of organized soccer in the United States!!!
(Maybe I am a little paranoid about soccer on ESPN . . .):p ;)

ESPN has been running World Cup commericals for weeks now. I'm satisfied. I'm at the point where I no longer try to convert people or try to defend the sport. It's out there enough to where converts will come around on their own.
I don't ask for more coverage. With FoxSoccerChannel, GolTV, ESPN, MLS direct kick and the BigSoccer Nation, I've got enough to chew on....
...but it would help if Jessica Alba was following the Nats around instead of Jim Carey :)

To be fair, its 90 seconds + added time for any injuries to the soccer vernacular by Shelley Smith. :D
