Luis Miguel Salvador got called during the program and he said that the Villareal people are already in el D.F. with Monterrey and America execs.
I think its a done deal. Good for De Nigris, heres hoping Floro can help Toño recover his awsome footie level.

Good move for De Nigris....it leaves America with one less forward but we will do without his services.
Let's hope that he does well enough to be purchased by the club at the end of the year.

de Nigris is a Club America player. And dont you think its ironic that once he joins America they want him and are actually making the effort.
Monterrey may have his card, but the contract say that America controls him until the contract expires. Why else do you think they re talking to Club America oficials?
must burn your hide.... are you going to post pics of these ex America player? BUAHAHAAHAHA

This is the Mexico board where we are informed up that ass. Everyone and their mothers knows that De Nigris has had offers from abroad for over a year now and especially from Villareal. I dont know if you read the article but it claims one of Villareals players got sidelined for the rest of the season and the Spanish FA allowed Villareal to replace him.

They need to talk to CA since they have him on a LOAN deal that includes Mendoza playing in Monterrey. Surely they will want compensation.

Way to go guys. Yet another of our players has his dreams grounded.

What pisses me off is that this was a golden opportunity. This deal comes at Denigris worse point and the fact they want him and are commited is great. Once again they go with their high prices when Mexican players have done nothing abroad. Especially a player that wasn't doing anything in Mexico too. This is or was a golden chance.

I allways felt that Monterrey should have released De Nigris two years ago when PSV made a 1.5M offer. Instead Monterrey asked for 5M. De Nigris is only good to Mnty because of his BIMBO contract, once that runs out they will kick him in the ass as they are currently doing. If MNTY was smarter they could release him in a contract with a stipulation that if he gets sold to a bigger club that they get a percentage fee. Hopefully the directivos can come to an agreement and we can see De Nigris playing abroad, remeber the same thing almost happend with Palencia before he joined Espanyol..

well...
you cant blame America.... Teiffer and Lapuente did their part. In fact, they were going to lose... because the player they traded (Mendoza) was still going to pertain to Mty
Thanks for reporting the news RDL. :)
So is he going or not?
I hope he gets the chance. We need more Mexicanos overseas.
