It was said on ESPN the other day, that KK is the only starting keeper from every nation in the WC that plays for a German club. I found this quite interesting, do you think this helps us or do you think is it really not that important?

Are the goals shaped differently in Germany?

No, but the focused concentration of the collective German national hive-mind can warp space-time, causing shots to swerve unexpectedly and even, in at least one documented instance, arrive at the goal before it was shot.

I think that is just a rumor, if he did I am sure someone on bigsoccer would have brought it up already.

He absolutely does. Go back and see if you can find the USSoccer podcast of it around the time of the Germany game. There was a tour of it.

Well if ESPN did a little research(you did say every nation including Germany I would assume) than maybe the names Oliver Kahn and Bayern Munich might mean something? Who's Oliver Kahn? Boooyah

Starting keeper, Kahn will be the backup for Lehman. Unless he gets red carded like he did in the CL final.

You are right he was not listed as a starter but once the Cup rolls around Klinsmann is going to wind up starting him at some point I would be, but yes I am dead wrong at this point in time

How many world cup strikers does he play against there? Besides the Germans, and Koller from Czech, are there any others? The goalies from Spain and Italy leagues face a lot more.

Just my 2c.

I think that you'll find that the goals are the same height as ours back home in Hickory . . .
