This can get moved if need be, but now that Camp is done, what's next for our guys? We have 3 warm-ups over the next week and then the Cup the second week in June, but are they guys all going home in between games and between the last game and departure for the cup, or are they sticking around in NC and continuing training? Also, when do they depart for Germany? A 10-day prep camp seems rather short, but I'm NOT one to question Il Bruce. I'd think continued training over the next 3 weeks before departure for Germany would be a good thing!

Are you incapable of seeing a thread only 5 slots down with the exact same topic, word for word?

I believe elsoulman is asking about the schedule for the team now that the camp is over. The other thread is discussing the health of the players.

I'm also curious of the schedule for the team in the next week or so. After the match on the 28th, what happens? When do they head to Germany? Will the players have a few days off before departure?

I spent a few minutes looking around on the US Soccer site and couldn't find any information.

Just found this on US Soccer.

FAREWELL TO CARY: After conducting their ninth and final day of training on Sunday morning in Cary, N.C. (photos), the U.S. Men’s National Team boarded a flight to Nashville, Tenn., to begin final preparations for the three-game Send-Off Series before heading to Germany for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. “We want to sincerely thank everyone in Cary for their support during our stay,” said U.S. Manager Bruce Arena. “The facilities were simply outstanding, and the staff were extremely accommodating and supportive of our efforts. Our time in Cary couldn’t have been better in terms of beginning our preparation for the World Cup.” The U.S. held a training session at the Coliseum on Monday morning, and will face Morocco (tickets) on Tuesday, May 23, live on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CT (delayed on Telemundo) in a match presented by Budweiser. After the match, the U.S. will then bounce to Cleveland to face Venezuela (tickets) at Cleveland Browns Stadium (presented by Sierra Mist) on Friday, May 26 at 7 p.m. ET (live on ESPN2, delayed on Telemundo), before heading to East Hartford, Conn., for their final match against Latvia (tickets) at Rentschler Field (presented by Hyundai) on Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m. ET (live on ESPN2, delayed on Telemundo). The team will then have three days off before meeting in Newark on June 1 to fly to Germany.

If 2002 is any guide, there will be more training here and in Hamburg, and possibly a scrimmage against another WC side.

Wow - if you have a problem of my not looking around, try reading the actual text in the post before responding. Yes, word for word, between "US Ends Camp Health" was the same - did you miss the "Now What?" and the rest of the post? Reading Comprehension 101 - read the entire message, comprehend, then post. Try reading peoples posts before giving them crap about what they write.

And thanks, HogDaddy - you found what I was looking for.
