Morocco is the strongest of the Send-Off Series opponents, it was just 21 minutes away from being in Germany for the World Cup when Tunisia scored a 69th-minute equalizer to knock the four-time World Cup participant down to second place. The U.S. has never beaten Morocco.

I would say US 1-0 Morocco.

I am tending to think that BA will field a line-up that will get his people who need to 'find their form' some valuable time. For instance

4-4-2

Dolo - Conrad - Gibbs - Boca

Dempsey - Mastro - JOB - DMB

Wolff

EJ

the bolded guys are the ones I think need the practice. I think dempsey will start all three games on the right and DMB and Convey will fight it out with DMB getting two start while convey one.

EJ will start all three games, one with Wolff, one with Ching, one with BMB.

JOB will play all three as well one with Mastro, one with Reyna, one with Olsen.

Just my opinion...

prediction USA 1 , Morrocco 1

i am hoping that bruce uses this game to get o'brien some action, and experiment with beasley on the right and convey on the left.

i am guessing that bruce will use these games to shift pieces around and see what works. there is at least one scrimmage (v angola? did i make that up?) scheduled after they arrive in germany, that i imagine he would start to finalize the starting lineup in.

forget Morrocco.

I'm far more interested in the combos Arena uses.

He's not going to tip his hand on what he believes a starting XI is....but I want to know what play what roles

I think there are at least 3 important things to see out of send off series

1) DFB plays as he needs to regain confindence and form (assuming his ankle is fine).

2) JOB has gotta play himself into some sorta shape (hopefully he has 8 games in him before his next injury).

3) Most importantly Gooch plays (not because he needs it, but because BA has gotta figure out who he has the best chemistry with).

Nope, after a couple of games, he'll earn a spot on the 2'd team. He should have stayed retired from international soccer like he said he was after the last WC. The games is just too fast for him now.

From what I saw in the recent African Nations Cup, the current Moroccan side is very weak. Nothing like previous Morocco teams.

You're kidding I hope. If not, you obviously don't follow the USMNT.

Especially since they aren't even bringing a real team from what was reported earlier. ELEVEN of their players pulled out? Does that bug anyone else the way it bugs me? I hope we're not paying their federation top dollar for generic product. I don't want to pay for Heinz and get Richfood.

personally im really interested to see what Arena does with the strikers. I think McBride could take the day off. out of the other three I believe all three need to see a lot of time. Ching is the only other target man. I figured Wolff and Johnson will split the rest but I'm very excited to see it.

you obviously didn't watch him play for man city this year. He was very very good
