Welcome! I hope your supporters come out like they did in 1998 and show us how real support sounds.

Still looking for confirmation (and tickets to go on sale), butther rumor is that the other two matches will be against the MLS's Revolution, and Chivas (from Mexico) as well as DC United.

Coming to play little Freddy are we. There are far better sides in the MLS than this lot. :(

But not as profitable for the Globetrotters, presumably
These pre-season games aren't really competitive games, anyway.

Look at the table. Sorry, "standings."

wow. It appears that FC Dallas have one more win than DC United in the standings, sorry "table". this of course is merely by virtue of having a game, sorry "match" in hand on them. This makes your team a runaway winner of the supporters' shield already. Everyone else should just stop playing soccer, sorry "football" on their fields, sorry "pitches" in their uniforms, sorry "kits" and their cleats, sorry "boots"
see how annoying eurosnobism is?

And an away draw to FCD's credit, too.
But we don't have Freddy, so all bets are off, I guess
I find it hard to take any comments about Eurosnobbery (snobism :D) seriously from someone who claims to be a Fulham fan.

Now, which team is "FCD", It is getting hard to keep track with all the name changes and new teams down there.
Are you the guys with the fruity orange kits and the brokeback love affair between Ching and DeRo...?
Or the other team with the fruity Red and White Stripes with that guy that dives and dives and dives all the time trying to get a PK...?
Please do not sully a thread about Celtic with your silly notion that Dallas leading the MLS Western Conference is any sort of accomplishment.
bu-bye

FC Dallas, aka the Dallas Burn, a team that's never moved. It's hardly our fault that we were cursed with a stupid name and only just got around to fixing it :D
The guys in orange are the San Jose Earthquakes, who are convinced there's some kind of Texas rivalry, despite the fact it's a California team.
FCD leads the "standings" overall and has drawn at DC. We'll need to wait to July for confirmation that Freddy FC is inferior... although we all know already that it is.

Oh, that's right, you guys are the ones that smell like cattle, now I remember.
I thought you were the other team since you were bragging about being the best, but if memory serves that team down in Houston beat you. ;)
Oh well, it matters not.
The mighty Celtic FC is going to play DC United, not FC Cowpoop.
Celtic FC will face off against the Four time Champions and "Flagship Franchise" of MLS...
Celtic is not going to waste time playing the second best team in Texas. :D

Memory doesn't serve, trumpet. The game agaisnt San Jose was a 1-1 draw following a rather poor Dallas performance. Too much long ball.
There may have been another game against the Quakes before this. I can't remember. :)

Let me try and look at this from Celtic's point of view:
DC United: 4 cups, great fan support, premier club of MLS
FC Dallas: NO cups (hell, not even a 2nd place), very little fan support, it's 340 degrees in texas in july...
Yeah, this had to be a TOUGH decision...

Do you think they want to play in front of a crowd like this?

To be fair, that does look like pregame training, but that doesn't mean they filed in afterwards...

That's a large crowd for Dallas. Seriously.
