Ronaldinho has all the right Moves - Miami Herald (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/soccer/14628925.htm)

....said former Miami Fusion coach Ray Hudson, who will be calling the upcoming World Cup for GOL-TV.

Umm, does this mean Goltv will have WC matches on tape delay? That'd be awesome!

Ditch the Pigs for Brazil - Miami Herald (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/soccer/14628941.htm)

.."PLAYING HOOKY

The Costa Rican government on Wednesday declared June 9 a national holiday so that employees can watch the World Cup opener between Germany and Costa Rica. Also, the postal service is issuing 54,000 stamps commemorating the World Cup team. In 2002, one million similar commemorative stamps were scooped up.

Costa Rica's team flew to Germany on Tuesday and has begun preparations.

In Brazil, the Central Bank announced that Brazilian banks can shorten their hours on game days to give employees a chance to watch matches. They must be open a minimum of four hours on match days, but are free to close after four hours."

..Nice....
