Pre WC Friendlies

I have posted the schedule for every team in the general forum, here are the pre-World Cup friendlies that are scheduled for each team. This could also be a good place to discuss the matches.

Czech Republic
May 26 v. Saudi Arabia*
May 30 v. Costa Rica*
June 3 v. Trinidad and Tobago*

Ghana
May 26 v. Turkey
May 29 v. Jamaica
June 4 v. Korea*

Italy
May 31 v. Switzerland*
June 2 v. Ukraine*

United States
May 23 v. Morocco
May 26 v. Venezuela
May 29 v. Latvia

All of the teams are playing three, except Italy who are only playing two. The Czechs are playing two CONCACAF teams. The U.S. is playing Morocco (who nearly beat out the Ghanans in their qualifying group and tied African champions Egypt in the African Nations Cup) and Latvia who frustrated the Czechs. Who knows why the U.S. is playing Venezuela?

Morocco will be a tough tough match. I dont think our team underestimates Morocco, atleast I hope we dont. I say we pull out a 2-1 victory, or a 1-1 draw seems likely.

I can't tell, is that sarcasm? There are three World Cup teams that they are playing, though they probably would be considered weaker ones, but Costa Rica did beat us 3-0, we only beat T&T 1-0 after being up 1 man for about 60 minutes at home in Connecticut, and the Saudis also qualified.

Your crystal ball appears to not be too shabby. It was a little off. Perhaps some homerism affecting your foretelling abilities. What do you foresee happening in June?
