I think that's great news for the league and for our own Rooney. He's the natural successor to Henry as the best player in the league.
If Ruud would stay...the scoring competition next year would be fierce:
Henry
Ruud
Shevchenko

As much as I would've liked to see Arsenal lose a key player.. I'm glad Henry is staying so we can see one of the best players in the world play on a weekly basis..

It's good for Arsenal and, more importanly, good for the Prem. Also, since we own Arsenal, it really doesn't affect us.

Agreed, I'm glad he's staying. It's actually nice to see someone showing some signs of loyalty these days.

Hopefully Djibril Cisse will stay at Liverpool and Drogba will stay at Chelsea. Unlike Henry, those guys do not add to the lustre of the PL. I'd still prefer they stayed with their unfortunate clubs though.

Henry is still in 'angry SSN from Wednesday' mode.
He just had a go at a reporter asking if he lacks ambition for staying, lol, I hope that someone releases this conference on the net, making me laugh.

The PL is certainly more entertaining with Henry around, so I guess it's good that he is staying.

And there goes his chance to ever win another trophy with a club for the remainder of his career.

One of those persons is not like the others.
You meant "Rooney" for "Ruud," correct?

i realize you dont like the arsenal, but a statement like this is not only ignorant, but extremely clueless.

I hardly think that we should be called out for "winding up" when we do it on our own boards.

Wanna bet that within the next 3 years Arsenal will not win a single significant trophy?

A lot of people seem to be missing this part of DS' post, so I thought I'd quote it.
