I thought we could use this as a place to follow the news/info about the MU players during the World Cup. Trying to find links on your own is tough if you just use the search engines. Typing in "fifa world cup 2006" will get you tons of EA Sports/XBox info instead of news/sites that focus on news and interviews.

Here's a few that looked good to me:

http://worldcupblog.com - Nice site that features bloggers from each nation

http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=1039 - BigSoccer's own

http://www.google.com/Top/Sports/Soccer/Competitions/World_Cup/2006/ - Google's WC category

http://worldsoccer.about.com/od/2006worldcup/a/wccmain06.htm - About.com's portal to the WC

http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/ - The official site

http://www.playerwatch.com/ - My fav site that aggregates info by player

http://www.newsnow.co.uk/worldcup/ - NewsNow is awesome

Add some more, please :)

Will watching France and laughing at Silvestre count as keepting tabs on Man Utd players?

Are these supposed to be sites from the players' perspective?

Thanks for taking the time to do this.
I'm a big fan of the Sky Sports website. This is since there was a couple of stories last season which they handled much better than BBC, which used to be my main source of footy news.

Specifically there was the story that BBC carried that Hitzfeld was coming in to replace SAF. This was around the time that there was a huge amount of speculation about SAFs future and all of the media were on the bandwagon.

The BBC story had actually edited Hitzfelds words when he said "I will be going to Manchester, Milan and clubs of that level." The BBC article just said "I will be going to Manchester".
Sky Sports carried the proper quotes on their website. I actually complained to the BBC using a transcript of Hitzfelds interview but they did not fully back down.

I found this one just now - it's a complete list of the (known as of now) squads of each team: http://www.football365.com/features/f365_features/story_185416.shtml

Sort of a crappy format but it's the most comprehensive list I've seen.

GOAL.COM has a World Cup site:

I think this link differs based on where you enter the site from.
