Tim Howard has told an American "soccer" website that he is looking forward to his move to Everton for next season, and that he believes the Everton fans are "absolutely incredible."

Speaking to USSoccerPlayers.com, he said of his move, "I really haven't been this excited in a long time, even when I first went to United. There was so much anxiety and it was so unknown. Now that I've been over there and I've proven myself and I've lived there for three years, it's just excitement. I'm really looking forward to meeting all my new teammates. I already know a few of the guys. The Everton fans are absolutely incredible, and it's a great city as far as the derby with Liverpool. So I'm looking forward to all of that."

"I'm not moving out of my house or to a new city, so it's more about just really getting involved with the team and taking in all that it has to offer."

"I have already spoken to my new manager quite a good amount of times, and I know that Brian [McBride] did happen to have a great experience when he was there."

Nice... it's good to hear he's ready to come and play... I know most players will say how pleased they are after any move, but from everything I have ever heard about Tim Howard, he is one of the good guys out there... sincere, considerate and a hard worker.

Here's to many saves for the Blues Tim!

I think this is a quality move for him and Everton.
