We're rumoured to be close to a $12 mill deal for this wonderkid from Brazil.

Looks like we're seriously looking at tapping into the Brazilian youth setup. We already have Rincon, close to signing the identical twins and now this. We were also close to getting Cicinho so why all the flair? I'm not against it but I wonder why the sudden Brazilian obssession. I guess we don't want to lose out on the potential future Kakas and Ronaldinhos of the world. It also seems Fergie is looking at pace lately as our play is now based on speed during counterattacks. This is where Ruud lacked and Saha fitted in well with Rooney and Ronaldo.

I have seen Kerlon play a couple times. Good standout player.
I don't know about calling him the new Ronaldinho.
His style isn't as direct as Dinhos or Cristiano Ronaldo
In fact his go to move during the U - 17 tournament was the Seal

ROFL: The Seal.........Good name for the move whick was quickly followed by a "How high can you squeal" move from hss Columbian counterpart.........
Would advise Kerlon not to try that move in the Premiership

If you like Christiano's tricks and 1v1 ability, you'lll like Kerlon as well. Kerlon is more a central player, he's quick, and he can find the open space by running behind defenders. He has that classic Brazilian posture while running - you know, like Cafu, Rivaldo, et al - he is able to keep his body quite upright while running at speed which allows him to shift his hips quickly and easily at pace. Exciting player :)

I have seen Kerlon play. He is a good player, but he does not have as many moves, at least that he has shown in games as Ronaldinho or Cristiano Ronaldo.
He usually resorted to the Seal.
P.S: I saw the clip where the Afro-Colombian take shim out. Brutal.

The Seal won't work in the Reserves. Some defender around Spector's size would put his shoulder in and put a stop to that highlight show.

It sure woulda been fun to hear Keane take the kid to task for trying that stuff in training

While he does that "Seal" move I think it would be quite funny if a defender pulled a Cantona kung-fu kick to his head. Poor guy would be knocked out cold and bleeding profusely. Oh there goes my sick mind again. I really should stop. But I would love to see him play for us. I am loving this South American revival going on.

I'll take other people's word, but that seal move irritates the hell out of me. Get the f...If we do sign him, I hope he's not a one trick pony, which he looks like.

Well apparently he is injured now. I dont see how people couild make judgements off a youtube compilation.
He is good, but nothing out of the ordinary for Brazilian standards. I dont think this rumour is true.

He will not get a work permit. He would have to be sent out on loan until he becomes a Brazil regular.

Kerlon isn't a holding midfielder. So he could be the next Deco.

Let me remind you that Kleberson wasn't given a chance to do well. He was a damn good player who never got his chance. That could happen to anyone.

He had one and a half good seasons, and it just so happened that it was around last World Cup. What has he done since then? Is he even starting for Besiktas?
