Key performers: Ronaldinho, Henry, Sheva, Riquelme, Eto'o, some of the others already mentioned...

But one player that hasn't been mentioned is Peter Lovenkrands. His oportunistic scoring was key for Rangers making it out of the group stage and coming close to beating Villareal.

Great call on that one, Rangers were so close. Also, Benefica's Joan Pinto deserves some merit as well.

Joao Pinto has'nt played for benfica since the world cup when he made an ugly tackle and got the BIG RED ONE:mad:
