As Goofy suspected, Blanco, after a dismal season, has been shown the exit door at America. His contract has expired, and though not kicked out, it's apparent he's taking offers. And right now he's in Monterrey, where he was seen having lunch with Tigres suits.

Other than for checking out the "Arco Iris", Blanco has no apparent reason to be there than to sign with a local club.

And now that Oswaldo is "a signature away" from the tigers, wouldn't it be weird watching the biggest Chivas symbol and the biggest America symbol playing on the same team from one tourney to the next?

Oswaldo is not the biggest Chivas symbol.. Keep in mind that before joining the club he played for the clubs biggest rivas in Atlas and America. That and Oswaldo has never won a Championship with Chivas. Ramon Ramirez was one of our main symbols, as was Benjamin Galindo. Maybe even Gusano Napoles !!!

I dont konw if the blanco to tigres rumor is true, but goofy should maybe check his facts before posting some things:
"En tanto Cuauhtémoc Blanco, quien hoy se presentó por nuestras instalaciones para continuar con su rehabilitación, dice sentirse tranquilo pues ‘tengo contrato de un año más con América y no creo que haya problema’."

Oh that's a relief, because the Tigres directivos wanted to send Hugo Sanchez, Rivas and some cash in exchange of Blanco!
Stupid arses... they are the ones who should be leaving, then Tigres could win with any coach/players.

God I hope not. He should't go to that joke of a team that hires sorry ass coaches such as Tuca.

By the way, didn't Blanco once flipped the bird to tigres fans?

Ah, yes... how could I forget...
So, all of a sudden the guy is all nicey with Mty media, calling Chavana "amigo", and praising the utmost knowledge and passion of Tigres fans... And Monterrey fans too... but mostly Tigres cuz... he was talking to tigres suits of course. And I guess he doesn't want corn tortillas or charales tossed at him... or be called "pinche chilango"...
See, if he cared to go to the fundidora to watch serie cart, it kinda makes sense in a way... I guess he needs big whiffs of dirty car smoke to adapt to, um... well, not-as-dirty air (but dirty air still)
Furthermore, I suppose he'd demand special training facilities, like the Volcan (No, for all you non-northeners not the "Volcán" stadium, but the place right accross the stadium) :D
Still, assuming Tigres don't buy America residuals, here are other job options Blanco might have:

Hi from Italy
I hope Blanco stay at America, not because I support this team (I'm a Toluca supporter), but because he's the symbol of the mexican football out of Mexico

Tigres is also a team in Mexico :D But this transfer is not very likely now. It was just a rumour at that time.
