Hey Soccer Fans,
We're almost there! The World Cup is right around the corner....hopefully everyone has their plans finalized :)
I have a quick question that was answered before, but I want to make sure that I understand it correctly.
If I want to transfer a few phase V tickets to my family, would this be the correct method?
First, I apply for the transfer via the Ticket Portal, right? Of course, I don't have the tickets to the matches, as the tickets are supposed to be picked up at any stadium on a day when there isn't a match going on.
If the transfer is successful, then can they take the .pdf I received and pick up the tickets themselves? What else do they need to bring?
Can I have someone else pick the tickets up for me? What do I need to supply my family with in that case?
I remember reading that it would be possible to have someone else pick the tickets up for you with permission.
Just wanted to clarify that for myself, as well as for others who want to do the same thing.
Thanks guys! :)

I'm doing the same thing.
To pick up someone else's tickets:
1. No certificate is needed if they never got one, but the email confirmation is then needed.
2. A copy of their passport (or whatever they used for their ID).
3. A letter signed by them giving you permission to pick-up their tickets. sample can be found in css.
4. Your passport (or whatever you are using as ID).
To pick up tickets transferred to you (or another) you or he or she needs:
If tickets are issued:
1. Would be nice to hand over the ticket if possible to make sure they get it.
2. The transfer request signed by them. This can be found in css.
3. A copy of their passport (or whatever they used for their ID).
4. Your passport (or whatever you are using as ID).
5. The confirmation email.
No tickets were issued:
1. The transfer request signed by them. This can be found in css.
2. A copy of their passport (or whatever they used for their ID).
3. Your passport (or whatever you are using as ID).
4. The certificate that was sent to original purchaser (not bad idea to bring confirming email as well).
Good luck and have fun.

I'm confused; so if it is a phase V ticket (no tickets in hand) and the transfer was successful, they need to bring:
a signed copy of the transfer form
copy of my passport (would a drivers license work; I'm from the US)
copy of their their passport (same question, would a drivers license suffice)
.pdf confirmation from me
Would the above do the trick?
Also, if it is a phase V ticket, do I need to pick it up if the transfer is successful, or can THEY pick it up?
Also what do you mean by CSS?
Thanks!

Sorry CSS = Customer Self Service
If you transfer to them they can pick it up, but they need a copy of your ID and of course they'll check their ID when they pick.
Yes the above would do the trick in that case.

This is what they say :
Exchange of transferred printed tickets
If you already received your tickets or if these have already been printed out or are in delivery process when placing the transfer application, you will need to exchange these tickets before entering the Stadium at any of our 12 FIFA World Cup™ Stadium Ticket Center. Tickets which have been transferred online may only be collected at a Stadium Ticket Center if there is no match taking place at this specific date and 1 day before the match itself at the latest. The shipped tickets will be then blocked and therefore no one will be able to enter the stadium with them.
In order to exchange the old tickets and collect the ones on the new visitor’s name the following documents will be required: The applicant must present an identification document, the transfer confirmation and the old ticket at the Stadium Ticket Center.
Collection by a third party
If you are not able to collect your tickets personally you may enable a third party to do this for you. This person needs then to have the following documents: a copy of your identification document, a confirmation of the order, the old ticket (in case of a transferred ticket), and one authorisation signed by you either for the collection of the tickets or for the transfer of tickets.
Please take into account that the transfer of tickets and collection of deposited tickets are two different processes and for each of them a specific authorisation will be required. The authorisation for transfer will only be applied to the mentioned matches and tickets. The authorisation for the collection of tickets will affect the complete order.
