As someone with no vested interest in either club today, it's hard for me to pick which team I want to win.
I don't dislike either side - both are talented and have the capability to put on a great show.
Last year was easy - I wanted LFC b/c they were huge underdogs, then watched as they came back from down 3-0. I don't think Arsenal are underdogs the way LFC were.
So I'm curious about which team other neutrals will cheer for and why.

Its pretty hard to decide... Arsenal deserves it, in my opinion, knocking off the teams they did. Juventus was primed by many to knock them off, as were Real Madrid. Arsenal is a fallen giant with an optimistic fan base, and I would love to see them cap off a great year. However, Henry has been winning too many awards lately, this might be too much lol.
Barcelona? They are the Allies of the spanish league, against the axis of evil, Real Madrid and Valencia. A great multi cultural squad. Ronaldinho brilliance, what more is there to say? Plus Messi is making a comeback, or is he? Im not sure but would love to see him play today. He is so subtle and confident.
I think Barcelona will win, Ill be happy if Arsenal shows up and gets some great chances, but all in all Barca wins.

I'd like to see a 2-2 or 3-3 draw, after a goalless first half, with the match ultimately decided late in extra time.
Mainly because I have to work and will have to follow the first half on-line. Ultimately, I really have no preference for the winner, so I just want the parts I get to watch be moderately interesting.

I'd like to see Henry finally get an accomplishment that he hasn't won in his career, a Champions League title.

Barcelona, because of Deco, also i donīt like teams who concentrate only in 1 competition like Arsenal did, because they knew they couldnīt do nothing special in the league.

It's so obvious that Barca is the favourtite team to win today :
1- Based on squad: full of great players led by the WPOY in Ronaldinho.
2- Based on stats: barca have won games with great scoring and attacking tactics
3- Based on team: Barca is the bigger club with history
However, Football is very " treacherous" sport, so unpredictable until the final whistle, as lately .. we have seen many weaker teams won big tournaments: Greece in Euro04, Porto in CL04, and Liverpool in last CL05.

Can I answer this in a couple of hours? :p
Just kidding!!!!!!!!!
This is the perfect final for a neutral like moi. If Arsenal win it... good for them. I think Henry and Wenger deserve it and it will be great for the Gunner fans. If Pires and (hopefully not) Henry leave in the summer and they move into their new stadium - it would be a fitting end of an era for this club who had never been past the semifinals.
But if Barca take it - I have no problem with that either. They have a fantastic team who have played great football this year. They are in my opinion the best team in the world at the moment. I'm really looking forward to this Henry vs Ronaldinho battle. I think Barcelona have more strength surrounding their star player however.
I guess I will root for whichever team plays better on the day.

I will root for whoever is losing, because I view both teams as relatively equal.

i like both teams and follow them with intrest in their leagues
but i think this is barcelonas year.
looking at both teams thru out the whole year, barcelona was more consistant.
arsenal had a slow start to the season but have picked themselves up to achieve what they never dreamed of achieving this season.
but saying that, i hope barca win, they deserve it.
i think barca has more depth in their team
arsenal is still very young and will achieve great things with the current squad.
saying that...they could cause an upset, i would be just as happy :)

I'm voting for a final deserving of the name. Like last week's FA Cup final. Thing of beauty that.
Beyond a close, fair and hard fought match, I'm ok with either winning.

I'm truly a neutral and as long as it's a good game (which I'm recording as we speak), I don't care who wins.
If I HAD to pick, I'll go with hoping for an Aresenal upset, if only because Henry is one of my favorite players ever, and when Arsenal play their game they are a joy to watch.
But hey--if Barca play the beautiful game and Ronaldinho does something magical, I'm cool with a Catalan win as well.

Im rooting for Barca because I think they have more exciting players. Ronaldinho is just brilliant, Eto'o looks like a madman, Deco looks awesome.
On the other hand, Arsenal players also seem very good, but (how can I say this right? ) more fundamental. Ashley Cole is like a surgeon with his tackles, Henry has great touch. Campbell is having a great game if you subtract that move Eto'o pulled on him to get the open shot.
The level of skill of these players amazes me. I rarely ever watch big European soccer matches as they are always on at weird times here.

I was wondering how long it would be before somebody did that!

I was pulling for Arsenal. They have had a season racked with injuries. To make the CL final was quite an accomplishment. However, being of Swedish ancestry, it was very cool to have Henrik Larsson do what he did to help Barca win.
