It's more like an anti-immigration speech.

What a joke!

He also re-defined "Melting Pot"

These are basic talking points used to rally his base of voters for November. The goal is to keep control of Congess, but in the end, we may still Bush's plan including steps towards citizenship. At least, I hope.

Who gives 2 shits about his speech. I know I dont. This moron is looking to raise his approval ratings with this crap? HELLO!!! How bout a speech about how your going to lower the gas prices. How you wont let us get robbed by the arabs anymore. Well you know why, of course because it would put a dent in his own pocket if he did that. Does this moron actually believe that we are going to stop weapons of mass destruction from crossing our borders if we secure it. I'm almost 95% sure the mexicans crossing the border are not the terrorists, but that in fact the terrorists are robbing us blind with the gas prices. Latino for next President :D

You don't care because you are now 100% gringo. We already established that much.

But, even with your personal concerns, you know how Bush and Chavez are in a pissing match and that will cost you and your gas prices. That front is getting worse. Have any opinion of Chavez that you want, the CIA was involved (as usual) in trying to erase the democratic process in Venezuela, regardless of who started it and how Chavez remains in power today.

You gotta hear what Bush says publicly and where he stands.

So are you saying your not 100% gringo? I thought you were born here. Are you letting the cat outta the bag? I'll tell you one thing we're fooked and not one person is going to make things better. Well not in our lifetime, maybe our kids.

Supposedly this is his plan in a nutshell

Bush's five-point plan calls for:

1. secure borders

2. a temporary worker program

3. holding employers to account

4. a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants already in the United States

5. Congressional passage of comprehensive immigration legislation

So whats the problem here. Whats your concern here. For the most part the only concern I see you may have is the one thats in bold ;)

Your kids learn more about the world from you, the parent. Be informed and don't dismiss what Bush has to say just because you already know what he will say. It is hard to get a straight answer from these types, so when they lay out a general plan, specific details or set a tone for the future direction, we need to know it so we can help influence some changes, alterations or refuse to accept said policy.

Latinos have been protesting and the response has been mixed. But, a few years ago, friends and family of mine had zero chance to stay in a nation which you seem to take for granted. Being 100% isn't a legal issue, not where you were born, rather a state of mind. You got yours, so you're happy. By the time your kids realize how you soldout their future to be happy and ignore the issues of today, they will be powerless to find ways to change.

All I'm going to say to you is Thank Gawd I'm no immigrant and dont got these issues to worry about. I gots enough damn things to worry about already. And this retart of a President is only trying to mess things up for all of us, not just immigrants. Seems he's actually trying to help them now. I see the picture for everyone, while you see the picture only revolving around immigrants. Hey we have the right to our different views. And that my friend is what makes this country Beeyouteefull.

I'm not ignorant. I know plenty of people with businesses that love hiring illegals and they wouldnt profit in their pockets any other way. So you can call me ignorant but I've seen the facts with my own eyes.
