A few bits of info on him:
From April 2005, upon joining Toowoomba:

Patterson, a product of Toowoomba’s junior soccer system, recently returned to Australia after stints with Anderlecht (Belgium), Sheffield Wednesday and, most recently Liverpool, where he made four appearances for their Under 19 side.

actually, both viagra and 'herb' stimulate blood flow, so they wouldn't be against each other, so to speak

Toowoomba coach Peter Broadfoot found a posting on an internet site asking if anyone needed a keeper.
How did we find out about him? This article is a year old, right?

OT: It's funny how that's the song so many people know them by, given that I don't know if they ever recorded anything farther away from who they are as a band (hardcore anarchists, the most political recording act with which I'm familiar).

I saw Chumbawamba play in a tiny anarcho-vegan coffehouse near Camden Market in London back in 84. Was Caleb Patterson even alive then?

That's a good question... it's possible he could have sent us a highlight tape I guess, although I know we've scouted an Aussie in the past.
Ray Hudson brought in a trialist named Simon Colosimo (w/Man City in '01-'02, currently w/Perth Glory) back in '03... he didn't pan out, but it's possible some of our connections that brought him over could have found this Patterson kid as well.

He (Caleb Norkus) is off to a flying start with 3 goals in 4 games so far this year for the Puerto Rico Islanders in the USL-1 (A-League).
