At least, I think it was 314. I was in 214 for last night's game vs KC. There were like, eight or nine African dudes seated in the section behind me (314?) playing the bongos and singing these African-style songs. F--king great, they had a huge repetoire, good voices, and good beats. They'd fade out every so often and rest a bit but they pretty much kept it up the whole game.

Somebody give these guys a recording contract...

Bongo's on the "quiet side"? Pretty soon, the quiet side will be the parking lot. :D

I mentioned to several people at the tailgate, but from my view on the Barra side, Im seeing more flags/drums/people standing more and more on the quiet side..the atmosphere at the last few home games has been amazing!

They did add alot to the game. They were in section 314. I was about 10 rows behind them and I hope they come back.

I'm glad someone posted this, those guys absolutely shredded. It was a monsterous pounding of epic drumnaciousness. I had to get on the good foot.

They were also drumming away outside the stadium after the game with a crowd gathered around. I assume it is the same guys you are talking about.

I thought the quiet side existed on road weekends. And someone else is using the stadium.

It was about 5 row in front of me. No one complained.

Should have been bigger.

Ah its early in the week... I have great faith that at least someone will come here on bigwhining.com and say they didnt like the group because a flag got in the way or they couldn't hear their kids horn blowing. :D

Wow, how did I miss that? I missed the drummer last night. There was someone banging on a drum, but it wasn't the same :( . I was glad to see the crowd getting into it more.

I saw them on the steps leading up to the front entrance of RFK after the game and they were just killing it. Amazing. I wanted to talk to them but the second i started to ask them something (after they had walked away from that original spot) they jumped right back into a song.

Hope they come back again.

They were from Ghana, live in the US. I told them they have to come out to more games. They had two drums going, not bongos, something like djembes, and they sang along with them. I'm assuming these were popular soccer songs or similar. The drummers were quite good and the singing was nice. I hope they come out again.

How much cooler are these guys than the "fan band" the Houston FO was trying to put together...

Anyone got a video clip...?
