3 out of our next four are away.
Two of them against teams at the foot of the table.By all rights a performance of the type that took all three from the brummies is what should be expected, however as we all know it rarely ever works out that way.The home game against the Rovers was most likely down as a W in everybodys book of expected points to run out the season.
The game against the toon, if we lose or draw, could see us out of a champions league position in the table for the first time in several months.
On the face of it Everton have a tougher schedule to fulfill over the next month than we do.What we should be looking for here is to increase our lead over them, making sure of champions league footie next season, thus bringing in some money to the coffers and maybe-just maybe-we might be able to splurge for a player in the off season. As you all know by now i favour a player for the middle of the park and have said before the Blackburn game that Dunn is the man.Keep either Gronkjaer or Zenden then for back up as we wouldn't need to sell both if we had some money guarenteed.Probably keep (gasp, i've said it) Gronkjaer. We should be able to get something decent for Zenden.
I think the Toon got the better end of that stick in the end eh?
The absence of petit seems to have been a real problem in the Blackburn game and from what i can gather from talking to some of the posters on the official site Morris was dire.
That lack of depth in the middle of the park could be the downfall of us.
Liverpool could pick up some points from their games.
What of the addicks?
Are they for real or is the scheduling making them look better than they actually are, remember that Tottenham actually toped the table for a while :)
