But he won't be available until January 2007.

Bad move for Hibs. Instead of selling him when they had the chance, they will now lose him for free in January and because he will then be 24, no compensation either.

There goes Riordan's chance of a Scotland career. The poison dwarf will sabotage it like he's doing to McManus and Maloney :(

At least he's played them in the Celtic team though, alot more than can be said for MoN.

Well, we all saw this one coming--we had all resigned to losing him for nothing, although, in a sense, we got some extra value having him as long as we did. At least we have cover until January.

Hopefully Celtic will start him alot. I think it's great Maloney and McManus have seen more time in the lineup this year. And I also think its good that Kris Boyd has seen alot of time in Rangers lineup.
Good for Scottish football.

Bah!! I really wanted to sign him but I was told by a hibbie on Saturday that Riordan is a proper dye in the wool bigot hibbie and he would never sign for Rangers. A real shame.

It would be good, but Gordon Strachan has a vendetta against the Scotland team, so he doesn't release players for the Kirin Cup; instead he opts to keep them for Harlem Globetrotters show-games against English teams.
Strachan really is a disgrace to the Scottish game. He should ******** off back to the Championship in England and run a mediocre side into the ground, seems to be what he's good at.

You're forgetting his vendetta against Bulgaria

He's best pals with Ian Murray and was seen singing the Sash in an Edinburgh nightclub with Murray just after Murray singned for Rangers, they were also letching all over a girl who was there with a friend of mine.
Real classy guys eh?

Aye right, Stephen McManus had his chance to get into a squad when, arguably, our two best centre backs were unavailable. When Pressley and Webster are back and with Rusty Anderson having such a good season, McManus won't get a sniff at the Scotland team. When Celtic sign Gary Caldwell, I doubt McManus will even be a firt choice for Celtic.
I hope he realises what a ********ing twat he's been for going along with the OFs disgracefull attitude towards the national team and that he never gets another chance. The same goes for Davie Marshall, he's just cemented Neil Alexanders place ahead of him in the pecking order, fool!
I'll let Shaun Maloney off with it hough 'cos he's actually a good footballer. Although after turning down the oppertunity to show what he can do in Japan, I wouldn't be surprised if he has to wait a bit longer to get into the team.
