I won't be at the game this week, unfortunately. Luckily, the Screaming Eagles' sound system will be (you probably like it more than me anyway), so I've prepared CDs for your enjoyment - provided it isn't raining. After all, we gotta do what it takes to protect the equipment.

Now that I think of it, that's a pretty good approach to life, not just expensive audio systems :D

Joining current tracks by Maritime, Lady Sovereign, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, The Gossip, Gnarls Barkley, and Prince that have previously graced the playlist, we have new songs by Editors, Rihanna, and - with both the White Stripes and Raconteurs - a twin shot of Jack White.

Music will start around 5 PM and run until about 7. Come join the SEs in Lot 8 for Red Hook beer, great food and camaraderie, and these songs:

Ladyflash - The Go! Team
Chewing Gum - Annie
Bullets - Editors
Hey Now Now - The Cloud Room
Hard To Explain - The Strokes
Where Have All The Rude Boys Gone? - Ted Leo & The Pharmacists
The Denial Twist – The White Stripes
Protein And Poison - Maritime
Cold Beverage - G. Love & Special Sauce
Move Your Feet - Junior Senior
Random - Lady Sovereign
Touch The Sky – Kanye West f/Lupe Fiasco
Say Something (Edit) - Mariah Carey f/Snoop Dogg & Pharrell
SOS - Rihanna
Wonderful People - Q And Not U
Banquet - Bloc Party
It's Martini Time - The Reverend Horton Heat
Steady As She Goes – The Raconteurs
Walk Idiot Walk - The Hives
C'mon C'mon - The Von Bondies
Daft Punk Is Playing At My House – LCD Soundsystem
Standing In the Way of Control - The Gossip
Metal Health (Bang Your Head) - Quiet Riot
Little Sister - Queens of the Stone Age
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
Cha Cha Cha - Jimmy Luxury and the Tommy Rome Orchestra
Crazy - Gnarls Barkley
Black Sweat - Prince
99 Problems - Jay-Z
The Impression That I Get - Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash
Song 2 - Blur
Back In Black - AC/DC

The Chuck Brown is coming out at the next tailgate, I promise. His songs aren't on ITunes or, seemingly, anywhere else.

I can get you a copy of Bustin Loose by Chuck Brown (and I have an assortment of other funk selections I can let you look at, Brick House is always fun!)

That's the one I was looking for. A couple of funk options to pop in and out of rotation would be good (although I need to dig in the crates myself - I have some of that already).

I sent you Bustin' Loose a few weeks ago...
