Dear Uncle Glazer
One year ago on Friday(5/12) you put the most important thing in my life besides my family and friends into 600M in debt and yes it's going up every day. You split up the worlds best support into two. you have yet to make clear any of your attentions for our great "franchise" are you ever ? or try to ease the vast majority of uniteds support who are against your take over ?I hope you feel good about your self
Best regards
NM
PS give Fergie the money he needs this summer and maybe i'll start to like you a bit..I said Maybe !

He's not hurt the club on the field. Especially if you can get Diarra. SAF just doesn't evaluate talent all that well, at the youth level.
Losing RVN is a disaster for all us, because the one thing Chelsea don't have is a top 5 (in the world) finsher because one has never been available to them. Now is RVN does that way............ouch.

Not quick enough. Might take 20 years for the bastid to croak.
NECROTIZING FASCIITIS maybe? Not always deadly, but a bit painful.

Arrrrrghhhhh!!! you couldn't have posted this at a better time as right now I'm wrestling with a decision and my conscience.
I've been offered a ST in stretty tier 2 for next season for less than face value (£513 instead of five-seventy-odd) and can't decide what to do. Part of the reason I stayed away this past season was because of Glazer but admittedly, part of it was due to cost. Now that I'm in a position to be able to afford this ticket I haven't got a clue what to do.
Every time I think of taking up the offer I feel as though I'm going against my own principles and part of me would hate myself if I buy it.
Likewise, every time I think of turning it down I reckon I could be missing out on something and I'd end up regretting it. The decision to stay away was a lot easier before this offer came along, that's for sure and I'm probably going to have the odd regret whatever I decide.
I've already said a tentative "yes" but can still change my mind up to and including tomorrow, don't know what the ******** I'm gonna do and have been thinking about it for a good fortnight.
But yeah, love United hate Glazer, even if it turns out rosey for the sheer fact that he's gambled on the future, and possibly the very existence of the club that we all hold so dearly.

This is something that I don't quite understand (not you specifically RoM, but your dilemma) - the entire basis for you lot hating Glazer is that he plunged your club into debt, so you retaliate by.....not giving him money so he can't clear the debt?
Admittedly I only dipped into the story at the time so there could be something obvious that I'm missing, but right now it seem like you're cutting off your collective nose to spite your face.

That could make for a good Podcast discussion if you can get someone virulently anti-Glazer on.

I keep on starting to write a reply to this but keep giving up. It's hot, I'm tired, need to get some sleep before work later tonight and will probably take a while to get everything down that needs to be said.
I will respond, probably not 'til tomorrow though. Thought I'd just acknowledge your post for now.

Putting Unkie G aside for a moment let's look at your happiness. Without a doubt I think all of us will watch every game United plays next season. During those matches (especially the ones on PPV) I realize that by watching I'm essentially repaying some debt, but more importantly, I'm cheering on my club, which makes me happy. Now if I could physically be AT the match cheering them on, I'd be even happier. And I'll tell you this, Unkie G, won't even enter my mind.
So I say do it for your happiness. And when you're happy and cheering, don't let that old man enter into your thoughts and try to steal happiness from you, cuz when he does that, then he's gone way too far!

I said that I need more time because, for me, the only meaningful measurement of success or failure with the new owner is with regards to the debt. If we can get out from under it and be successful on the field then no problem. If the debt ends up crippling us...
