As our team is now, which one of them would you take? Ronaldo as he was at Barca, or Ronaldinho?
At the moment I'd sway for Ronaldo, with him as he was then & a good midfield we would be brilliant.

I don't remember Ronaldo at Barca, but wasn't he a god back then?

Since we have Rooney (who isnt better than Ronaldinho, but would play a similar role), Id take Ronaldo, because since Ruud is leaving, we will need goals.

He scored some brilliant goals, like that one where he powers away from the halfway line, as he gets near the area two defenders come in from either side as if they're going to sandwich but he just bursts through. Amazing. They'll probably have it on youtube.com or something like that. Why did Barca sell him?

That Ronaldo was unstoppable. So much pace and power. Then he had so many moves in his artillery that he was literally unstopable. You couldnt stop him at all.
This Ronaldo is still good, but not as good as his Barca days (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3761731977610943782&q=Ronaldo)Im still looking for clips.

While we are at it, we should really look into getting Del Piero of Juve ealrly-mid 90s, Raul of late 90s and Vieri of Atletico and we're all set.

I'd like to also add Ruud of 2005/06 to that list.

Well it all depends on how far back you're going. You can't forget Puskas and Di Stefano.

Looking at the current fat Ronaldo, I almost cannot believe that was him in that video. He was amazing and would have been perfect for the EPL. He was so powerful and fast, he just run by people with the ball sticking to his feet, they could stop him even by grabbing his shirt, it's almost unreal.
