View Full Version : Slightly OT: Toronto MLS team to get a name Thurs, May 11

I say this is slightly related to Philly MLS because #1- We might get lucky and Comm. Garber might mention that another, 14th team, is also joining MLS with Toronto in 2007 (and that city is Philly, we wish). #2- It's just cool that MLS is expanding.

It is great to see the MLS expanding. As to the Philly connection, I doubt they'd mention anything at tomorrow's presser, since they wouldn't want to steal the City of Toronto's big day...but maybe a "Stay Tuned" message?

As I said before, this could be nothing to do with Philly at all. Just the potential exists, so I thought Philly MLS posters should be informed of the chance it might happen. Still its exciting for MLS and Toronto at the very least.

Thread resurrection is awesome.
Weird to think I started this thread 3 years ago now. Where has all the time gone?
And truly, Philly Union FC seems to plugging along nicely now. Stadium moving along, logo/colors/name unveiled.
Now, where is that head coach?
